One strategy to increase the likelihood of you answering your question in a sensible and objective manner is if you allow the person who asked the question the time to finish asking. Some people like to clearly define what they are seeking. If you answer a question before it is answered fully could appear disrespectful. Don't assume you know exactly where the person is asking you, hence you are trying to help reach the goal. If you're having time then let the individual "ramble" while you take note of key things. It allows you to think through and formulate what is the best way to answer the question. The ability to listen provides you a high success rate in the answer to questions.

You can determine the best solution to make your point without leaving the person with the marks of a wound or fresh ones.
